Crowdsourcing my #denver trip

I’m taking a trip to Denver Colorado and I’m looking for places to visit (Parks, museums and such) and places to eat as well.
I’m hoping to make this trip special by crowdsourcing where I go.
Since I’ve never been out west before, where do you think I should go?
@jeffblakephoto has suggested a trip to a Rockies game so I’m going to see the Rockies play the dodgers.
@trishburnett has suggested a concert at red rocks so I’m going to see Yonder Mountain String Band.
@jessicacwoodrum told me about a good place that serves Mac and cheese with Bacon.
@mandiengram and @michsineath have great ideas as well, but I want to hear from other folks also.
I plan on taking my camera and I’ve rented a car, where are some great places to go take pictures?
If I get some great ideas, ill be sure to share them with everyone.

I was in Denver twice in the last few months. Here are some fun places that are more urban than nature..
Downtown Denver, near the Colorado Convention Center there is the 16th st pedestrian mall. It’s dozens of blocks of pedestrian traffic only (except for the free busses that take you up and down the mall) and has shops, restaurants, and many cool places.
Right off the mall, there is a restaurant that is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall callled Boney’s BBQ. OUTSTANDING BBQ.
Seriously. Really good. And inexpensive. It’s beneath a McDonald’s. A few blocks from 16th and California. Maybe on Stout st?

Thanks Chris, I’ll be sure to try that on Sunday. I’m planning on spending most of that day in downtown. I’m going to spend most of today just exploring outside of Denver, so those suggestions are really helpful.
